In The Screaming Tower

In the Screaming Tower, it's rather hard to hear someone scream...wouldn't you agree?

Run

I gotta be brief here. Long story short, The Archangel wants to kill Elise, Sol, Luna, Sylvia and I so we're running. Sol, Sylvia and Luna will be in one car, Sol's truck, while Elise and I are taking the car. No posts for a while so we don't let him find us. Hopefully I can speak with you all soon. Also, Lydia, go fuck yourself.

Life is a Bouquet of Roses

So I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamt that The Smiling, The Slender Man, and The Rake were doing “The Creep” following The Black Dog, who was padding in front of them, looking nervous and turning to bark at them every once in a while. The Nightlanders even stopped their football game to watch it.
I woke up to…Sol. Fortunately not straddling me, but it startled me either way. “Where’s Elise?” I asked, sitting up and putting my glasses on.
“She’s taking a shower and asked me to be here when you woke up. Apparently if you wake up alone you flip shit or something.” Sol waved it away. Afterwards, I got dressed, and Sol and I went to have breakfast. Non-obfuscated Lucky Charms, thank the existing deities.
“So, you’ve been spending a lot of time with Sylvia recently, eh?” I asked him.
“Yeah, we get assigned to do a lot of stuff together, cuz Luna’s still recovering.” Sol replied.
“What kind of stuff do you guys do anyways?” I asked him, before eating a spoonful of cereal.
“Eh, the stuff you don’t do. Like, sometimes we do maintenance on the Tower. Other times we run errands. Not much, honestly.” Sol shrugged.
“Hm. I guess since Elise and I were here first, well, Sylvia was technically originally, but she was traumatized and whatnot, we get the priority jobs. Anyways, I gotta dash.” I said, putting my empty bowl in the sink and heading to Mistress’s room.
I heard a sound from her open doorway, and I stood in the doorway for a moment. Mistress was singing. “Although you’re untrue, I’m attracted to you all the more, why do I need you so? I need you, I need you, more than anyone, darling, you know that I have from the start. So build me up, build me up, buttercup, but don’t break my heart!” She glanced over at me standing in the door and immediately turned off the radio. “How…how long were you standing there?” She asked quietly.
“Long enough.” I chuckled. “But that’s not important at the moment. What needs doing at the moment?” I asked.
“Nothing at the moment…nothing big really happening. I don’t blame you for the whole thing with The Maenad yesterday. He was an asshole, from what I heard from Elise. So either way, just go on patrol or whatever and make sure nothing’s wrong.” Mistress ordered me.
“Alone? Elise hasn’t gotten out of the shower yet.” I asked.
“Yes, go alone, nothing’ll happen to you, don’t worry.” Mistress looked exasperated, so I did what I was told and left the Tower.
I walked around for about an hour. Then I saw two girls. I had my left hand on my knife just in case. They were grinning oddly, and that unnerved me. I thought at first that maybe they had just said something funny. I assumed the Burning Bride had proxies and they were them. “Hello!” I shouted stupidly. I don’t know what I was thinking at the time. I was probably thinking “Ooh, cute girls!” But I dunno. “Might you be proxies of the Burning Bride?” I asked them.
The first one giggled. “He thinks we’re proxies of The Burning Bride.”
“Why, uh, yes. Yes we are.” The second spoke up as we approached each other. “We, um, are.”
“Are you looking for Dolls, specifically one named Daniel Thompson?” I asked them, assuming The Bride sent them as messengers.
The first one giggled. “He thinks we’re looking for Dolls, specifically one named Daniel Thompson.”
“Uh, yes, we are. Why?” The second one responded.
“Because you’re standing in front of him.” I replied. “I’m Daniel.”
The first one giggled. “He thinks we’re standing in front of him.”
The second one took my hands. “Really? Good, I’m glad we found you.”
“Why is that?” I asked. Then in almost an instant, she was behind me, with my hands behind me. The first one produced a coil of rope from her dress, and tied my hands and legs with it.
“We’re not proxies of the Burning Bride.” The second said. “We’re Rose Brides, servants to The Smiling Man.”
“I…see.” I replied, struggling to retain my composure.
“Not soon, you won’t.” The second one smiled. “He’s coming this way soon.”
“But until then…” The first one said, taking out a battery-operated hair dryer and putting it near my face, turning it on.
“What are you doing?” I asked her, confused.
“Melting your face. You can melt Doll’s faces with hair dryers, yknow?” I swear this girl has some form of high-level autism or something.
Then there he was. “Hello, girls.” I heard his voice. It was high-pitched, almost feminine. The Smiling Man. They both stood up and bowed on either side of me. I made sure not to look at his face, and instead looked at his monstrous retractable claws. “Hello, Doll.” He grinned wider.
“Hello, Mr. Smiling Man.” I replied, trying to be as polite as possible, hoping to diplomacy my way out of this one. “To what do I owe the honor of being visited by someone such as yourself?”
“I’m using you as ransom.” He grinned. “That sweet little Elise girl you spend time with? Well, she found me once when you were staying behind me, and got away from me. I’ve been following her ever since then, but every time I get close, she goes into that damned Tower. So I have her partner. She’ll have to come get him, and then, that’s when I’ll get her.”
“And kill me, I suppose?” I asked him.
“You catch on quickly.” The Smiling Man responded. “I have a Rose Bride headed to The Tower to inform that dear girl of the situation. But until then…let’s have a bit of fun, shall we?” He grinned, standing me up and taking hold of my face. “Now…look into my face. I stared at his teeth. His razor-sharp teeth. He had dozens. He opened his mouth. There were teeth behind his teeth. He had no tongue, only teeth. Hundreds.
“Good…” He grinned. “Now look into my eyes.” He grinned, forcing my face up to look at his eyes. They hurt. They hurt. So much. So much they hurt. Ow. OW OW OW IT HURTS TO THINK ABOUT THAT. Anyways. Ahem.
It wasn’t long after that the two Rose Brides’s heads were sliced off by strings. Mistress? No. Someone else. Sylvia. “Mistress gave you string powers?!” I yelled at her. The Smiling Man dropped me, being startled.
“I here to save you!” Sylvia yelled, beheading The Smiling Man and cutting my ropes. “Now he get up soon. So hurry!” I ran to catch up with her, and we got out of there.
I made it to The Tower, where Elise was waiting. She saw me and kissed me. And kissed me. And we kissed. And kissed. And kissed. And we’re kissing as I write this. More kisses- I mean updates tomorrow. Night everyone.

Negotiations

Sorry for not posting yesterday. There was a good reason for that. Elise and my mission wasn’t very interesting. Yep. Grocery run. Unless you want a aisle-by-aisle breakdown of what we got, I think I should just ignore that one for now.
Anyways, todays was more interesting. We were supposed to go to someone, a Maenad named Turnwell or something like that. Something weird like that. Can’t remember it too well now. Anyways, Elise and I were in charge of negotiating peace with The Rake. Yeah. Me. Peace. Totally a good idea.
So anyways, we got into the car, and headed to the designated meeting area. As was many meeting places, it was on top of a goddamn building. Always on top of them. I dirtied my suit climbing up a grimy ladder to get there. From the top, I could see the rotting corpses of the timberwolves we killed to get Sylvia back. Guess the City wasn’t THAT hungry.
The Maenad was already there. “Yer late.” He said. Unlike Elise and I, who were all dressed up formally, he was wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. Not the most professional. I didn’t like him already. “I was waitin’ two fuckin’ minutes, and my time is goddamn ‘mportant.” I already wanted to deck him across his smug face.
“Uh, yes, terribly sorry about that.” I replied, mustering up all the kiss-ass I had left in me. “So anyways, I trust your master informed you that your purpose here is to negotiate peace with my Mistress?” I asked him.
“Don’t have fuckin’ time fer this.” Turnwell responded. “Just gimme the goddamn fuckin’ paper an’ I’ll fuckin’ sign it.”
“Er…….paper?” I asked.
“Yeah, the fuckin’ peace treaty!” Turnwell was enraged. “You brought the fuckin’ paper, didntja?”
“I didn’t hear anything about a paper of any kind.” Elise replied to the puzzled look I gave her.
“So yer wastin’ my fuckin’ time?!” Turnwell looked at me with fury in his eyes. He cracked his knuckles and stepped forward. In less than a minute, I had him pinned to the floor with my knife, and Elise had her obfuscated shotgun at the ready just in case.
Then he did something else. He began whispering to me. I don’t know what it said, but all I know is I saw things from my past. The last day of Kindergarten. My grandmother’s funeral. My Dad losing his job. The move 500 miles. Getting hit by the car. Mistress rescuing me. I don’t know what else I saw, but I know I’ve blocked it out of my mind since, then I blacked out.
I woke up in The Tower. Mistress was sitting in front of me, visibly sad, which is odd for her face. There it was. Elise’s head, cut off with my knife. I screamed.
I woke up in The Tower. Sylvia was standing over me, a crazed grin on her face. She picked up a handgun and aimed it at my face. I screamed.
I woke up in The Tower. Elise was holding me. “Is this real?” I asked her, panicked.
“Yes, Daniel, don’t worry.” Elise petted my head and smiled.
“What happened after I blacked out?” I asked her.
“Well, I blew off his head once he stood up. Then I called Sol and he brought the pickup truck, and we got you back here. Not long after, we received a Screaming Telegram- A Doll at near-death, screaming for her life. She told us we had made an enemy of The Rake. Then she dropped dead. As Mistress put it; ‘They’re better enemies than friends. Fucking Maenads.” Elise summarized.
I was still confused, but my head cleared as the night progressed. I’m quite tired now, so I’m gonna get some sleep, hopefully clear my head further. More updates to come.

File 25

Daniel here. I apologize for not posting anything yesterday, but I was in an induced coma, as I was recovering from my injuries I sustained from the explosion. But thanks to Mistress forcing several Oathbreakers to heal me, I’m doing well now. Seems I can’t catch a break however, because Mistress ordered Elise and I to go and observe the Archangel. We figured that the easiest way would be for us to go dressed in gas mask and everything and pretend to be timberwolves.
Since Mistress thought ahead, she asked the Archivists who killed those timberwolves to take some of their outfits. Elise and I dressed up in them. They were skin tight and kind of hurt to move around in, let alone hot. Elise looked pretty damn hot, but I was feeling awful. Made me feel almost sorry for those poor fuckers. Almost.
Then the wonderful coup de grace. The motherfucking gas mask. It was hard to see in, hot, steamy, and generally horrid to wear. No wonder those timberwolves are so damn incompetent, they can’t think cause blood flow can’t get to their brains. Either way, we figured out the way to the door to Bliss. Some Doors in the City are constants, like the Door to Bliss. Rather than taking the car, we ended up walking, hoping to find a group of timberwolves. Eventually, we did.
“Who’re you and why aren’t you with a group?” The leader of the small group said.
“Uh…we’re new. This is our first time in the Empty City. We’re supposed to find Bliss.” Elise’s voice came out nasally and unrecognizable. It was a relief, they wouldn’t realize it was us unless we lost the gas mask. And neither of us intended for that to happen.
“Whatever.” The leader replied. “I’m Dawson. An Alpha Male. I might even be an Apostle soon.” He said proudly. “And this group here, that’ll you’ll be a part of, they’re my responsibility. So don’t go fucking things up, cause it’ll be my record you tarnish. We’ll just escort you to Bliss and someone will take care of you there.” He said, turning and walking away. “Come along, wolves.” We followed slowly.
The walk wasn’t long, only about twenty minutes. We stumbled across a Doll on our way. To prove my worth and loyalty, I had to kill him with a timberwolf-provided knife, though I had my own. “I’m sorry…” I whispered to the Doll as I stabbed him in the heart. “I have too.” He nodded understanding, and dropped to the ground, dead.
We continued onward, to a massive Iron Door, unlike that of any other Door Elise or I had ever seen. Now we knew why it was constant. As Dawson opened the door, we saw Bliss. Gas masks everywhere. The sky was a dark gray, as there were factories making god knows what belching smoke in the distance. Long, narrow stone streets. Small, square dwellings, all leading up an elaborate castle high up on the tallest hill.
“Hi!” We were startled to see a girl with pink hair and a goofy smile on her face pop up right in front of us. “I can tell by your confusion you two are newbies, right? Well, fear not! My name is Realtea Chase, and I’ll show you to the castle!” Realtea grinned. She was odd. Reality Chase. Haha. So funny.
“Why aren’t you wearing an outfit?” Elise asked Realtea.
“Well, I can’t tell you that. It’s not because I’m an apostle, definitely not.” Realtea was sincere in saying this. “It’s because, uh…..well, I dunno!” She shrugged. “Anyways, we’re almost there!”
The castle was just as massive on the inside as it looked on the outside. We walked through massive hall after massive hall, reaching the throne room himself. And there he was. Sitting on a throne, well, more lying on it, was the bastard himself. The Archangel. “Father! I’ve brought the new ones!” Realtea beamed at him.
The Archangel sat up. “Thank you, Realtea. Now, go put on an outfit.” He commanded. He sounded like he belonged in Brooklyn, not another dimension. “So, you two are new to the service, eh?” He stood up.
“Uh, yes.” Elise replied.
“Very well, take off your masks, allow me to look upon the faces of my new servants.” The Archangel said, in his most regal voice.
“I’d rather not.” Elise and I said at the same time. In an instant, he had me pinned by the neck to one of the nearest walls.
“When I say take off your mask, you take it off, you stupid little shit!” He yelled at me, pulling off my mask. It took him a moment to recognize me, but he did, sadly. “You…you’re that little asshole who was trying for that silver bitch! The one with Puppetslut at the fucking convention! The one who killed so many of my timberwolves! HAHA, I have you right where I fucking want you!” He slammed me against the wall again. “Let’s see how much you love your fucking Mistress after she doesn’t help you with the bleeding asshole I’m gonna give you!”
He started to tear at my suit, but he stopped. He fell over onto the floor. The timberwolves all stopped to look at what was happening. No one dared intervene. Elise had hit him over the head with the handle of her shotgun.
“NO ONE FUCKS MY BOYFRIEND EXCEPT ME, GOT IT ASSHOLE?!” She screamed, and fired several shells into Archie’s body.
Five seconds later, he was up and clapping. “Good job, you feisty little Grayskin!” He walked to Elise, who had her gas mask. “Let’s see how feisty you are after a few rounds with a bunch of my timberwolves! They sure “took the energy” out of that silver bitch, so why not you?” I could practically feel him grinning.
I saw a shadow on the wall slip in undetected, then it slid across the floor….and into Elise. Her eyes changed to a much more blank look. Then she spoke. It sounded like a mix between her voice and a deep, melodic voice. “Archangel. This has gone far enough. They simply wish for information, not to do harm.” Elise/Choir said.
“Whatever, I don’t give a fuck, these two are a pain in the ass.” The Archangel said. “I’m gonna kill ‘em now so they don’t cause more problems in the future.”
“No, you shan’t get the chance. I will not allow it.” Elise/Choir replied, and began obfuscated. They obfuscated a fucking tank. “Get in, Mr. Thompson. I’m sure you have much to write about.” I ran past the Archangel before he could react and got in the tank. The tank moved, without anyone at the controls, out the door and down the hill from the castle, through the streets. The timberwolves were too dumbfounded to do anything but get out of the way.
After blowing up the door, we were back in the City. And I was indeed writing.
File 25: The Archangel
Alternate Names: PRE03, Fossil-Types HADES, The Ecclesiarchway, Subject Alpha Romeo, The Devil, The Fleshless King, The Walrus, The Last Prophet
Attitude Towards Humans: Hostile
Control Over: Death

Fear of religion, that’s what he is. But the Archangel is far, far worse. He can hug you, and you will die, by embracing death. He’s ruthless, cruel, brutal, and has an army of millions that he can use to his whims, uncaring of whether they die or not. He has his higher-ups, the Apostles, and the “Alphas” who are servants of the Apostles, and take care of the lower ones. He’s also homosexual, and loves raping men. The Archangel is one of the worse Fears, being one of the oldest and strongest, rivaling those of The Wooden Girl, The Slender Man, and EAT. Those are the four big ones. Though perhaps The Rake counts as well. He has his own dimension, called “Bliss” which is ironic, due to the fact that it’s one of the most horrid places in the universe, and probably many others as well. Not only that, but he’s plotting to overthrow the other Fears. He wants to kill The Wooden Girl, and enslave the others.

I’m not sure if I should bother putting this in, but….earlier tonight…I, uh, well, got a quote-unquote belated birthday gift. That’s right, I am no longer a virgin. Nor is Elise. She said the cheesiest thing after we were finished. She said “Hey, we should do this again sometime.” I think I am truly in love. More updates tomorrow, as Elise and I will begin getting more normal assignments.

File 24

We found him. We found Daniel Thompson. He’s asleep now, so I’m posting for him. We found him in an odd way, however. Apparently The Burning Bride happened to be in the area. She saw the dropped bomb, and went to go investigate. What she found was an exploded boat, and a very confused Daniel, hiding behind a rock. As well as Adrift.
Well, her real name is The Unnamed Child, but I prefer Adrift, so I call her that. Anyways, Adrift was there too. She yelled about her Wanderers messing everything up by giving Daniel Wi-Fi. Apparently she wants Daniel dead for exposing her to me back in May. I personally want HER dead for trying to bury a half-conscious Daniel in the sand. The Burning Bride was so angry at Adrift that according to Daniel, she was beginning to turn the sand to glass. They fought….and Adrift won. She beat The Burning Bride.
That was a mistake. The Brute poofed into existance there, and said something along the lines of “HOW DARE YOU HURT MY BEAUTIFUL BRIDE, YOU SICK, TWISTED, LITTLE WRETCH.” And proceeded to give Adrift the scolding of a lifetime. Daniel took this time to escape. He stumbled through the woods, until he stumbled upon a group of russian campers (As in the activity, not the servant) who were perplexed about the bomb. They quickly packed up their stuff and took him towards the nearest hospital.
Unfortunately, they didn’t last long. Some timberwolves who wanted Daniel dead showed up and made quick work of the poor mortals. They grabbed Daniel and proceeded to bring him to Bliss.
However, they didn’t seem to be the most intelligent of people, considering they took the WRONG DOOR in the City and ended up in the Archive. There, they found a multitude of Archivists, who pelted them to death with textbooks and epic sagas. The Blind Man himself accompanied the Archivists through the Empty City to the Tower. Daniel was barely comprehensive at this point, but he does remember the Archivists being attacked by more timberwolves, and he thinks he may have watched The Blind Man beat The Archangel’s ass into the ground, but he’s not sure.
Afterwards, he brought Daniel to the Tower, and interrupted Mistress’s meeting with The Plague Doctor in the Godsway, but we got him back alright. Mistress “borrowed” an Oathbreaker, which basically means temporarily strung him up, much to The Plague Doctor’s assumed chagrin. The sort-of-Doll gave Daniel a shot that kept him conscious for about 15 minutes, then he went to sleep/coma. He told his story in that time. So now we just wait and see what happens.
Oh yes, one other thing Daniel wanted me to do. Finally post the article on The Quiet.

File 24: The Quiet
Alternate Names: PRE19, Fossil-Type NYX, The Pacific, The Screaming Silence, Subject Quebec Uniform, Fate of All Things, The Starless Night, Rest
Attitude Towards Humans: Passive. Literally
Control Over: Some vacuum thing

I dunno if The Quiet should even be a Fear. He doesn’t show much emotion. He’s passive, completely to everything, it doesn’t even know itself exists. It’s not self-aware. It can’t stop it’s spreading. It doesn’t know it is. It doesn’t care about the World, it’s servants, because it DOESN’T KNOW. It’s just an ever-expanding void, sucking up anything it gets near. Apparently it’s in other dimensions too. Some dimensions have been almost completely consumed by The Quiet. Others just have a tiny dot that doesn’t expand. Whatever it may be, The Quiet does exist in some form in every dimension that was, is, or ever will. Even the theoretical ones. It’s inescapable. Inevitably, every dimension will be consumed. Nothing can stop it. Supposedly The Hushed Monks are trying, but I don’t see how some PROXIES would stop their master from carrying out it’s only intent in the universe. To expand. Continue. Consume. Supposedly, there’s also this other group that call themselves The “Sine Corda.” Who claim to have been “touched” by The Quiet, though I don’t know how that would work, all things considered. They supposedly have a hole where their heart should be HOW DO THEY STAY LIVING. Whatever, in my opinion, they’re bullshit. It’s also supposedly the opposite of reality. Meaning on the other side of The Quiet, there may be reality. There might be nothingness. Whatever. I don’t want to find out.

Well….that wasn’t the most professionally written article, but it was informative, right? Ah well. Gnight everyone.

Location

Daniel, it’s Elise, can you read this? I’ve been looking for you. Where are you?
(Edit 1): Elise, it’s me. I’m fine, but lost. I have no idea where I am.
(Edit 2): Okay, uh, do you know what your surroundings are?
(Edit 3): Er……a forest. It was pretty cold last night, if I had to give it a guess, I’d say somewhere in Siberia.
(Edit 4): Sol’s tracing your computer signal, so we can find out where the wi-fi is coming from.
(Edit 5): Hopefully that’ll help.
(Edit 6): Yeah, but it isn’t, mostly. According to Sol, it’s somewhere out in the Kara sea, just off the coast. So you were right about the Siberia thing.
(Edit 7): Alright, I’ll start walking when I get up. It’s pretty early here. By the way, how did I disappear? What happened on the 17th?
(Edit 8): I honestly don’t know. You were gone when I woke up. Mistress, Sylvia, the Dolls on guard duty, none of them know.
(Edit 9): Oh…well, I’m going now. I’ll contact you soon.
(Edit 10): I’m there, Elise. You still there? It took me about an hour, from my estimates. Still don’t know where I’m at. I see a boat on the horizon, though.
(Edit 11): WOAH THERE’S A BOMB BEING DROPPED FROM A PLANE
(Edit 12): ARE YOU OKAY DANIEL
(Edit 13): Yeah I’m fine it was focusing on the boat woah the boat explo
(Edit 14): Daniel? You okay?
(Edit 15): Daniel are you there
(Edit 16): DANIEL ARE YOU OKAY
(Edit 17): ANSWER ME GODDAMMIT
(Edit 18): Everyone who reads this blog…if you’re out there, I beg of you…help me find my boyfriend. Please. I know he’s not the most agreeable person, or the most likeable person. A lot of you hold a lot of contempt for The Wooden Girl and her subjects, and you’ve seen what he does what he does when he’s angry, but….to any of you with any humanity left in you….please help. He’s in Siberia, I know that much, near the northwestern part….I believe. I’ll look for him, and hope you all do…I’m so worried about him…

Birthday

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was a bit preoccupied. It was my birthday yesterday. Whoop-de-fuckin’ doo. Mistress is still looking over the analysis of The Quiet. She seems very, very intrigued by it. Luna joked to Sol yesterday that it probably because his handwriting was so bad she probably couldn’t read it. Also, she’s been spending a lot of time recently in the Godsway talking to “Tall, Dark, and Diseased.” Which I suppose is most likely The Plague Doctor.
So anyways, for my birthday, I woke up to Elise straddling me, trying to be a bit more sexual than usual, as it was my sixteenth birthday. After getting dressed, I went to speak with Sylvia. She’s now up on the 65th floor, so it’s a bit of a hike, considering Mistress never bothered installing an elevator in the Tower.
Once I got up there, I opened the door to her room, as it was already open a crack, and was immediately glomped by Sylvia. “Happy Birthday Daniel!” She yelled, saying each word with much concentration.
“Thanks, Sylvia.” I ruffled her hair and managed to get out from under her. “How are you feeling? The Quiet didn’t shake you up too much?”
“I fine.” Sylvia waved her hand in dismissal. “Those markers stronger, though.” I had no idea what she meant, so I just smiled.
“I have to go now, I’ll see you later.” I told her, then left to go downstairs. Once I made it down, I went to go see Mistress. Fortunately, she was there.
“Good, you’re here.” Mistress was sitting on her throne with a cup of tea. She raised it to her lips, but whether she was actually drinking it or it was just for aesthetic purposes was unbeknownst to me. “I want you to go observe the Archangel today. I know it will be difficult, but I think you can manage.” I looked down at my feet, and she noticed it. “Something awry?” She raised an eyebrow.
“It’s….my birthday…” I said slowly.
“Aw, hell, ya should’ve said something!” Mistress exclaimed. “Take the day off! It’s your sweet Sixteen, right?” She asked me.
“Yep.” I responded. She tossed me a wad of cash.
“Take Elise somewhere nice. It can be ‘sweet’ Sixteen, and nothing says sweet like taking a girl out on a date.” She said. “Now go, shoo.”
I found Elise waiting out by the car. “Hey, Elise?” I asked her.
“What is it, birthday boy?” She replied.
“I was wondering…if you’d like to go on a date with me?” I asked sheepishly, even though I’m good when it comes to business, I’m horrible at social things.
Elise clasped her hands and smiled. “Of course, Daniel! I’d love to go with you! Are we going somewhere formal?” She asked.
“Not that I know of. Casual wear would be best.” I replied. “Like what you’re currently wearing.” She was wearing a Metallica tanktop and a black miniskirt with her 60’s goth boots.
“Alright, so where are we going?” She asked, getting in the driver’s seat.
“Bar Harbor, Maine.” I replied.
After finding the door for that, we spent the day in Bar Harbor, Maine. We walked on some of the trails, hiked up Cadillac Mountain, kissed a couple times…okay, we kissed way more times than a few times. We kissed A LOT. After hiking up and down the mountain, we went into town to get some Ice Cream. I had Blueberry and she had Raspberry Ice Cream.
After, we ended up driving around the area of Ellsworth, looking for a Movie Theater. Eventually, we found one, and made the 5:00 showing of “The Purge.” I have to admit, the concept was good, but the execution was horrible.
After that, we ended up driving all the way to Machias to have McDonald’s for dinner. I had a Big Mac, large fries, and a large Root Beer. I was expecting Elise to get a Salad or one of those Angus Snack Wraps or something, but she ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, as well as Large Fries and a large Hi-C. She’s not afraid to eat, which is something I like in a girl. Then again, she’s skinny as a board, so I don’t know how much she normally eats, but…
After eating, we ended up heading back to the Tower. As we got out of the car, we ended up kissing against. I blurted out “Elise, I want to date you!”
She grinned. “Okay.” She smiled, and we kissed again.
Not much changed with our sleeping habits, except she snuggled me a little closer.
That’s where it gets weird. I fell asleep as usual, and then I was in this forest. It’s 11:00PM. I’m alone. I have my knife, my laptop, and my clothes. My trilby is on my head. I have my glasses. I have no idea where I am. I have no idea where the Wi-fi signal is coming from. I’m actually scared. Elise…if you read this, I need help. Please find me. Please.
